About oxNANO

Pioneering the future of molecular development with predictive, physics-based simulations.

Our Mission

Our mission is to accelerate the development of DNA/RNA-based biotechnologies by providing powerful computational tools that predict molecular behavior with unprecedented accuracy. We aim to drive a paradigm shift from costly trial-and-error lab work to targeted, in silico-guided design, ultimately de-risking and shortening the path from concept to commercialization for our partners.

Our Story

oxNANO LLC was founded as a spin-off from Arizona State University's Center for Biological Physics. Born from decades of foundational research in molecular simulation, our company was created to bridge the gap between academic innovation and industrial application. Our founding team consists of the core developers of the oxDNA software, a globally recognized tool for modeling nucleic acids.

Our Approach

We use physics-based simulations and high-performance computing to create a "digital twin" of our clients' molecular systems. Unlike data-driven AI models which require vast training sets, our approach models the underlying physical forces governing molecular interactions. This allows us to make accurate predictions for entirely novel systems, providing deep mechanistic insights that are crucial for rational molecular design and optimization.
